Liverpool are the true champs Print

Hate is a very strong word but that’s exactly how I feel about Man United.

I mean, not only are they the most arrogant team in the world but they’ve got nothing to show for as well, and perhaps that’s why they dislike Chelsea so much as it’s a mirror of themselves.

But I don’t dislike Chelsea because I think they walk the talk and I’ve nothing but respect for teams like them.

I’ll never forget the chosen one’s response to Alex Ferguson’s criticism that Chelsea could buy any p0layer they wish. Mourinho’s retort was: “You can buy players but you can’t buy a winning team.”

If Manure’s trophy cabinet was as big as Ferguson’s mouth, I wouldn’t be saying this.

In fact, I like and respect all teams but I’ll save my love and passion for the true and only champions of England: Liverpool! All this hoohah about the triple Rs makes me sick to the core!

The only thing I can say about the three Rs is that they’re “oveRly oveRRated” or Ranting Raving Rubbish!

I don’t know and I don’t understand what all this rivalry is between Manure and Liverpool as there is no comparison between the two.

Just take a look at all the titles at home and on the international stage and ManUre is nowhere near the power and might of Liverpool.

We’ve been League champions 18 times against ManUre’s 15, European Cup champions a whopping five times against ManUre’s miserable two and League Cup champions seven times!

Charity Shield champions 14 times! Uefa Cup champions three times! Supper Cup champions once and many more!

ManUre had a good run in the ‘90s and even did the Treble, but try bringing back the European Cup five times.

They’d do it only in their dreams as their stadium is so aptly named.

So there you go, there’s nothing much to compare. My hatred for ManUre is not blind hate. I just have absolute disdain and contempt for a loser team that’s “bodoh sombong” (Malay for stupid and arrogant, and that is the worst possible combination).

Liverpool have achieved much more than any other team in the whole of England in their own quiet and humble way and will continue to do so.

There are only two kinds of supporters in the world – those who support Liverpool, and the others who wish they can support Liverpool.

Long live the mighty Reds!

Long live the reigning champions of Europe!

You never walk alone
