I enjoyed watching Chelsea beat everybody

A sad Christmas for Liverpool
I may be the biggest Liverpool supporter, but the truth is the truth. Arsenal will demolish Liverpool. It is going to be a sad Christmas for Liverpool.
John Molina

and, in particular, Liverpool is so much a
part of his life that even if heis performing
while a live telecast of a Liverpool match
is being shown, he will record the game
or catch it during a repeat telecast. If you could catch him performing at China Bar
at Central Mall, you'd see Molina and his band rocking to his other passion — music.
"I have become a better leader over the years.
I understand the members in my band better and I think I am getting the best out of them.
"There is an amazing team spirit," he says.
He's very obviously the frontman in his
band and a natural leader on stage. But Molina insists it is about teamwork.
Perhaps Rafael Benitez could learn a thing
or two from him.
"I need my band around me," he explains.
And the band is embarking on an exciting
new project which should take off some time early next year.
'We are in the midst of writing our own material;
we're also getting local musicians to write
for us, and we'll perform at the club," he reveals.
They may eventually have enough material
for an album.
"There's a better market now for English
music.
There is more awareness and more support," he says, very much more cheerful
than when we were dwelling on Liverpool.
And while he suggests this awareness
could be on account of Singapore Idol,
what are his thoughts about the contest?
"What's missing is _the X-factor.

They don't have the edge, they do have the bite. Singapore Idol is VE teeny-
bopper," he says.
"I preferred Talentime. Singapore Idol ...
no!
"There's a better way of capture talented people."
Catch them at China Bar, perhaps?
But Molina is too modest, too talented to agree with me.
And it isn't just his talent that draws the crowds.
Molina works at his craft, putting in three days rehearsal a week with the band a' sourcing new material for the bar after their performances each night.
For all that industry, he's left four or five hours of sleep each nite.
"There's not much of a life," he concedes.
Yet miraculously, Molina finds time to indulge in his passion for football.
He plays football once a week, alternating between training and playing friendly matches.
"It's a real team, with their own jerseys and I'm the team captain, declares.
"We started off losing 10-0, 8-0 ... scores like that," he says, looking mildly embarrassed after his admission.
"But we're getting better," he proudly.
"We're beginning to get away draws!"
Hopefully, tomorrow night at Anfield, the team he supports win all his heart might emulate the team he plays for.. .

Hitting the bed rock -The Straits Times (mindyourbody)

Hitting the bed rock

SINGER JOHN MOLINA,36, CAN BE FOUND BELTING OUT ROCK NUMBERS AT ROUGE AT PERANAKAN PLACE EVERY NIGHT. HE TELLS JUITH TAN THAT HIS SECRET TO YOUTH IS SUPPLEMENTS, WATER AND PURE GREAT RAW INTENSE SEX.

You are rocker and lead singer of the rock band Kreuger. Yet, you say you are soft-spoken, sensitive and very shy. Are all rockers like that in real life?
I guess this is one question that only people very close to me can answer. I can't say much for other rockers, but I do know that music is an intangible craft and therefore takes some level of sensitivity for deliverance. As for being shy...I've always been shy.

Then why the bad boy image?
I guess the bad boy image stems from my younger days when I was a little reckless, rebellious, non-conformist and took an anti-establishment stance. It must have followed me on stage. Ha!

You keep late nights and doctors often say that people who keep latenights age faster. So what is your secret to the fountain of youth?
Multi-vitamins, water and pure great raw intense sex! Ha!

Fowler back,now for Owen,too!

Hi all! I know it's been awhile but i just couldn't bring myself to write anything after the unjust Premiership loss to Man U last month.

But I've always maintained that winning a battle doesn't qualify you wibn the war and my stance was further justified by the sound beating we gave United in last week's FA Cup. Once again, Man U have got nothing to look forward to except for this weekend's final of the Carling Cup, which they not too long ago arrogantly dismissed as an unimportant Cup. Ha! Now what's left of their silly arrogant pride depends on it.

Enough of Man U. As the mighty Reds of Liverpool go marching on, I worry about their suspect finishing. In their 1-0 win over Arsenal's 12, 12 corners compared to Arsenal's 1 and possession was almost 70 percent. yet we only could come up with one goal. We've just got to do better.

I'm not complaining about our form and wins but with such possession, defence and one of the best midfields in the world, the strikeforce isn't very complimentary to the rest.

Getting Fowler back is one of the best things to have happened to Liverpool but now we need someone who could play off him. I say let's get Owen back!

And despitethe 1-0 loss to Benfica in mid-week in the Champions League, I still maintain there are only two great teams in this world - Liverpool and Liverpool reserves! And there are only two kinds of supporters in this world - those who support the Reds, and those who wish they were Reds supporters!

There's only one shade of red

HIYA, everyone! It’s me again, the Manure hater with conviction.

I’ve been reading stuff from very misled Manure supporters about their arrogant and useless team being the only Reds. Please don’t kid yourselves. Mighty Liverpool are t5he only true red club in England. We are known as “The Red Machine”, “The Mighty Reds”, “The Red Army”, among so many other red names.

The only red thing about Manure is the colour of the red cards the referee has been showing their overrated players during matches when they’re getting a rightful thrashing, and the colour of their home jersey, which is shared among teams like Middlesbrough, Arsenal, Charlton, Home United, etc.(Apologies to these teams and their supporters for the association with Manure. No disrespect intended.) Actually, I’ve spoken about the vast difference between Manure and the great and mighty Liverpool quite a while ago, so please allow me to present our readers a brief factual statistical journey into what I presented the last time:

ENGLISH LEAGUE CHAMPIONS: Liverpool 18 times, Manure 15.

LEAGUE CUP CHAMPIONS: Liverpool 7, Manure 1.

UEFA SUPER CUP CHAMPIONS: Liverpool 3, Manure 1.

CHAMPION’S LEAGUE CHAMPIONS: Liverpool 5! Manure a miserable 2!

So, from these simple stats, you be able to see why I’m so indignant when the Red name is so cheaply used and abused by Manure Fans, for there can only be one red, and that’s the mighty Liverpool Reds!

Bend your knees and bow your heads to the true champions of England, you arrogant devils, for when the mighty Red Army comes a-knocking at the theater of fools tomorrow, we’ll show you to be the clowns you rightfully are send you straight down to hell as you so appropriately named yourselves for.

You’ll never walk alone!

Real Destination Celebrity Guides -Jan/Feb/Mar 2006 Local Guide

In each issue of The Real Destination Singapore, we provide you with your own personal celebrity Singaporean to help guide you around the city. In the January/February/March 2006 issue, local rocker, John Molina, from Rouge nightclub on Orchard Road was your guide.

John is one of those guys that probably should be more famous than he is. His career has seen him play most of the top live music haunts in Singapore, most of the time along with his band Krueger, except for a period when he quit the music business to scuba dive, cycle around South East Asia and sell satay in Phuket.

Those days thankfully have now passed and he's back in the Lion City with Krueger, belting a raw mix of rock at Rouge nightclub at Peranakan Place on Orchard Road - one of Singapore's best locations for live music. If you're a fan of live music, then do get down to Rouge to catch them as they're one of the best live acts in Singapore.

River Area and City Hall
One place John likes in this area for a meal and a drink is Timbre (45 Armenian Street, Tel: 6338 8277, Mon-Sat 6pm-late, closed Sun. www.timbre.com.sg). This place has some good food – or as they like to term it,"Soul Food". From pizza and tapas, to bangers and mash, the food goes well with the live music that has made it a popular nightlife spot in Singapore (not surprising, as the chef is also a musician). Every night there is a different band playing, ranging from acoustic sets to full four-piece bands playing rock and pop music. Especially look out for four-piece bands, EIC on Wednesdays and The Ngak Band on Fridays.

Orchard Road
John spends most of his time on Orchard as the lead singer in his band at Rouge nightclub at Peranakan Place - here you can find him and his band Krueger belting out a range of rock live on stage.
But Orchard is famous for its shopping, and as lead singers in bands always need to look good, we know his recommendations for shopping here will be good. John especially recommends The Heeren shopping mall (Corner of Cairnhill Road and Orchard Road, map 3G). "It has almost everything - a very good range of clothes, accessories, bags, chains, rings, watches and sportswear - and all very hip and funky". In here, his favourite stores are New Urban Male for menswear and sportswear (#04-08 The Heeren, Tel: +65 6738 8329) and the famous Singaporean men's and women's fashion and accessories store 77th Street (#05-03/06 and #05-30/31 The Heeren, Tel: +65 6235 1944).

Chinatown
Chinatown for John is a destination for shopping and eating. On Food Street he recommends you try a little of the local food available: "This place is great to just walk around and pick out something you like, then settle at one of the tables on the side of the road". John also recommends shopping here " there’s no specific store, just the whole atmosphere and variety of the area makes it a great place to buy accessories such as wristbands for himself and “clothes for my mum!"
